John Legend edita “A Legendary Christmas: The Deluxe Edition”

John Legend também confirma presença cá, no EDP COOL JAZZ 2020, a 3 de Julho de 2020

O vencedor EGOT e multiplatinado cantor e compositor aclamado pela crítica, John Legend, que acaba de lançar a edição alargada do seu primeiro álbum de Natal, ‘A LEGENDARY CHRISTMAS: THE DELUXE EDITION’, irá actuar em Portugal na 17.ª edição do EDPCOOLJAZZ. O músico sobre ao palco a 3 de Julho 2020, no Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, em Cascais.

O álbum ‘A LEGENDARY CHRISTMAS: THE DELUXE EDITION’ é composto por 18 faixas, teve como produtor executivo Raphael Saadiq, conta com 4 novas gravações originais de 4 clássicos e já se encontra disponível.

Kelly Clarkson juntou-se a John Legend para uma original releitura de um dos standards da época natalícia, “Baby It’s Cold Outside” (ouvir aqui: https://youtu.be/DlMP7FGYJmk), com letras actualizadas escritas por John e a comediante Natasha Rothwell, escritora e produtora da série da HBO ‘Insecure’. 

“I’ve loved holiday music since I was a kid in Ohio singing with my family every Christmas around my grandmother’s piano. We had so much fun recording, releasing and touring A Legendary Christmas last year. Now we get to make it even Legendary-er with 4 brand new tracks on the Deluxe Edition. I’m particularly excited about the new version of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” featuring my friend Kelly Clarkson.  I co-wrote a fun reimagined version of the lyrics with Natasha Rothwell, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
