SZA e Justin Timberlake lançam “The Other Side”

“The Other Side” é o primeiro single e vídeo oficiais de “Trolls World Tour” (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

SZA e Justin Timberlake juntaram-se para lançar o tema e vídeo oficiais de “The Other Side” (ouvir aquiou ver aqui). A faixa foi escrita para o filme ‘Trolls World Tour’ por Justin Timberlake, Ludwig Göransson, Max Martin, Sarah Aarons e Solana Rowe (SZA), e produzida por Timberlake e Göransson. “The Other Side” é o primeiro single da banda-sonora ‘Trolls World Tour (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)’ a ser lançado, com edição agendada para 13 de Março e cuja pré-reserva já se encontra disponível aqui: https://smarturl.it/TWTSoundtrack

Timberlake regressará como produtor musical executivo, juntamente com o compositor/produtor Ludwig Göransson. Timberlake escreveu e interpretou música original para o filme, que também inclui música do elenco e alguns dos artistas de topo como Kelly Clarkson, Anderson .Paak, Mary J. Blige, Anna Kendrick, George Clinton, Dierks Bentley, Anthony Ramos e muitos outros (alinhamento completo em baixo).

O vídeo do tema “The Other Side” presta homenagem aos vídeos de Hip-Hop dos anos 90, onde SZA e Timberlake dançam em frente a uma lente ‘fisheye’.

“I was so thrilled to be invited to participate in this project with Justin,” explica SZA. “The creative process of working with him and the team was filled with such excitement. It’s an energy you can feel in both the song and music video. I can’t wait for people to check it out.”

“It has been such a fun process writing and executive producing for this project,” afirma Timberlake. “Being able to bring together different creatives from various disciplines and genres has been the most rewarding part. Creating something that serves the movie while still being able to exist apart from it has been a fun challenge that was made even more exciting by working with the other amazing artists that helped us put this together.”

A banda-sonora ‘Trolls World Tour (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)’ sucede à muito bem sucedida banda-sonora do filme de animação de 2016 da DreamWorks, ‘Trolls’, também ela produzida por Timberlake. Da banda-sonora faz parte o tema 4X Platina, “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!”, canção mais vendida de 2016 que se estreou em #1 na tabela ‘Billboard Hot 100’, ganhou o Grammy® na categoria ‘Best Song For Visual Media’ e teve várias nomeações incluindo um Academy Award®, um Golden Globe e muitos outros.
